RS PRO RTD Extension Cable – 4 core, PFA, 5m_x000D_ Introducing the range of RS PRO Platinum Resistance thermometer extension cables, ideal for use as a general-purpose extension wire and can be used to extend 2, 3 or 4 wire RTD configurations, this cable also comes in a 6 core variation that can be used to extend 2 x 3 wire duplex (dual element) configurations. The material of this extension cable offers high flexibility and is waterproof._x000D_ Most commonly used with the Pt100Ω thermometers but also suitable with other types such as Pt130, Pt500 & Pt1000Ω._x000D_ This extension cable has 4 cores, extruded PFA Teflon® insulated with 7/0.2mm tin plated copper conductors. The cores are twisted with polyester tape and nylon cord followed by a tin plated copper conductors twisted together with PFA insulated outer jacket. The silicone rubber material of the jacket offers heat resistance to 260°C has good electrical and mechanical properties, highly flexible, resistant to oils, acids and other adverse fluids._x000D_ The cores are colour coded with 2 x Red and 2 x White with a black outer jacket and are supplied in 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 metre reel lengths.
