RS PRO Thermocouple Selector Switch_x000D_ From RS PRO a 12-way panel mount type K thermocuple selector switch, also known as a thermocouple switch box with a simple to use multipole rotary selector switch. This thermocouple selector switch provides an effective and reliable way of allowing up to 12 type K-type thermocouple, probe or RTD signals to be switched to a common display or control unit. The unit is internally wired with thermocouple compensating cable and is compatible with all type K thermocouples. A 1 metre type K fixed lead is supplied with this unit which is connected to external equipment._x000D_ How Does a Thermocouple Selector Switch Work ?_x000D_ The 12 rear inputs or channels allow readings from multiple K-type temperature sensor inputs to be monitored on a single K output. The 12 inputs are connected to individual RTDs or thermocouples and the single output is connected via a cable to an external temperature measuring device such as a digital thermometer. To select the sensor you want to measure simply turn the switch on the front of the panel which is clearly marked with the channel number.
