This twin thermocouple and extension wire from the RS PRO range is sheathed in highly durable PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), so it's resistant to oils and acids while offering mechanical strength and flexibility. Thermocouple wires are used for measuring temperature in steam and pressure applications, autoclaves and sterilisers. This one operates safely up to temperatures of +250˚C without melting and down to -75˚C without cracking._x000D_ The cable is available in a length of 100 m and has two solid cores, each with a cross-sectional area of 0.2 mm. Its tolerance class I classification means it's extremely accurate._x000D_ Importantly, it's been stringently tested to ensure it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007).
