This Type K thermocouple has two wires made of nickel-chromium and nickel aluminium alloys, giving them a wide operating temperature range from -75°C to +260°C._x000D_ The cable has a flat design, meaning that the two wires are not twisted together. This allows the cable to be thinner, making it easier to route. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation provides resistance to oils and acids as well as good mechanical strength for use in harsh environments.
