RS PRO IEC Thermocouple Connector for use with Type J Thermocouple, Standard_x000D_ This RS PRO Type J thermocouple connector works well in non-corrosive environments. The standard plug and socket set is versatile and compatible with older types of temperature sensors._x000D_ It features polarised contacts to help you avoid making connection errors and has a maximum continuous operating temperature of +220°C. Internal wires are protected between plates of thermocouple compatible material with a clamping screw that can accommodate fine wires through to stranded cables. The plug's round pins are iron positive and copper-nickel negative. You'll also find that the sockets are supplied as in-line or panel mounting versions and with rectangular or circular fascias._x000D_ Because of the presence of iron, Type J plug and socket thermocouple connectors shouldn't be used in applications where they may come into contact with moisture.
