Regular vibration measurements on all critical machines as part of the maintenance regime can detect early signs of failure and provide a way to eliminate these problems. Bearing wear, poor balance and loose mounting all lead to the failure of rotating machinery. Unexpected machinery failure leads to unplanned maintenance costs, loss of production plus potential Health and Safety hazards.
